吾家愚谷里，
此谷本來平。
雖則行無跡，
還能響應聲。
不隨云色暗，
只待日光明。
緣底名愚谷，
都由愚所成。

My home's here in Simpleton Valley,
valley tranquil from the beginning,
where you wander without a trace
and return, an echo answering sound,
where you trust sunlight's radiance,
not secret shadows the color of cloud.
And so the name, Simpleton Valley:
all things are perfected in simplicity.
